Grow slow nursery was a new independent garden nursery start up in Bridport in 2021 their Ethos was to join the slow movement promoting a slower pace of life, and strengthening local economies by using only locally produced foods and selling locally produce arts crafts etc.hence the reference to the tortoise and hare fable in their logo, at the heart of their business was the desire to promote and sell local as well as locally grown plants reducing the environmental impact of nursery grown plants being imported they promote and sell local artists work, truly unique business and event space offering quirky events such as women's only early mornings silent disco's an alternative to the Kings coronation, family fun days etc and great themed parties.

Jeremy White was a well-known character in Bridport having had a stall selling his succulents on the Saturday market for many years,he was not only known for his wonderful personality and incredible knowledge of succulents but his very eccentric clothing that he wore including his pink mini skirts and eccentric headgear which I drew inspiration from for his logo.
